Lovely small and well-organized hotel located in a local area not far from the surrounding areas, Torquay in the other way, and the conservatory with a beer and wonderful sea views. Neat and updated room with an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. Very comfy beds, fresh made and tasty breakfast. Great way to end our trip.

The room had an amazing sea view, and we enjoyed exploring the National Marine Aquarium. The breakfast was served with excellent service every morning.
The only downside was the limited dining choice. The menus could use a bit more variety.

The Beautiful Double Room with Sea View offers fine panoramic views of the ocean that you won't forget. This place nails cleanliness, with well-decorated rooms making it a cozy spot to relax after a day's adventures.
Plus, I found the dining options somewhat limited. If you're looking for variety, the choices felt a bit sparse. I also noticed a lack of convenient spaces for toiletries in the ensuite, made organizing a hassle. Lastly, the initial chill in the room upon arrival took some time to warm up.

fine sea views, cozy conservatory area, well-stocked bar
Rooms facing the railway can be noisy!!! Limited flexibility with breakfast hours could feel restrictive!!! There are fewer amenities compared to larger hotels that might disappoint travelers expecting more!!!

The hotel offers its own parking. Rooms like the Brixham Harbour Room, neat and finely decorated, come stocked with fresh milk for tea and coffee, a detail that adds a touch of home.
The breakfast situation fell flat with the continental spread with subpar cereals and tiny portions of jams. Opting for a cooked breakfast incurs an additional charge of £5, which feels a bit stingy since the room rates suggest otherwise. Showers in some rooms, such as Room 10, lack power and have quaintly small cubicles. A low ceiling by the window might give some a feeling of claustrophobia, and those preferring firmer mattresses may not find the Tempur options to their liking. Check-in isn't until 5 PM, limiting afternoon flexibility for those keen to settle in sooner.

We loved our stay, and the views were very nice. We explored the National Marine Aquarium, a highlight. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. A great spot for a getaway.
One downside was the limited dining options, just a tapas selection, a bit pricey for what you get.

The stay provided a fine sea view that was a highlight, complemented by really good breakfast options including light salads. The room was spacious and comfortable, but at times, noise from nearby activities could be heard, slightly distracting.
